Program overview
The Foam Party is Funky Monkey Events' most requested summer celebration program — and the only one in the lineup that happens entirely outdoors. Foam machines fill the air with mountains of safe, biodegradable foam while kids dance, play, and celebrate everything they accomplished in the summer reading program.
There is nothing else in Oklahoma library programming like this. Libraries that run the Foam Party see it become the event patrons ask about first every spring — sometimes starting in March. It's the reward that makes your whole summer reading program unforgettable.
What happens
Joe arrives 30 minutes before your event to set up the foam machines and prep the space. The equipment is professional-grade — this is not a birthday party foam cannon. As kids start gathering outside, the anticipation builds.
The machines start slowly, letting kids get comfortable. Then the foam volume picks up until the air is thick with it — kids are running, laughing, diving in, and completely losing themselves in the celebration. Music plays throughout. Parents photograph everything.
As the event winds down, kids towel off and catch their breath. The foam itself is completely biodegradable — it breaks down quickly and leaves no residue or mess behind. Joe packs up and leaves the space clean.

The Foam Party is a summer celebration event, not a curriculum program — and that's exactly the point. It's the reward that makes your summer reading program unforgettable. Kids who participated all summer get a finale they'll talk about until next year. Kids on the fence about reading next summer will be signing up early to make sure they don't miss it.
No CSLP tie-in needed. No learning outcomes to justify. Some programs earn their place in the schedule by being purely, completely worth it.
